ALISEI – Advanced Life Science in Italy is the National Technology Cluster established by the Ministry of University and Research to connect the world of research with the pharmaceutical and biomedical industry. With over 200 members across universities, research centres, companies and institutions, ALISEI is the voice of life-sciences innovation in Italy.

TEDxTorino is one of the most anticipated scientific and cultural events in Italy, hosted every year at Teatro Regio in Turin: an audience of thousands, a cross-cutting and highly engaged crowd, and a showcase of major relevance for anyone bringing complex ideas to a broad public.

President Massimiliano Boggetti's participation in TEDxTorino was a strategic opportunity to position ALISEI as a cultural — not just institutional — point of reference within the Italian innovation ecosystem. Mayor Digital supported the entire journey: from building the message to the stage presence, through to amplifying the results.

Message and script definition
Starting from the brief and Boggetti's vision, we built the narrative thread of the talk: from the central idea to the key messages, through to the script structure. A co-creation process designed to turn technical expertise into a story that moves and convinces.

Speaker positioning support
We worked on positioning Boggetti not only as President of ALISEI, but as an authoritative and accessible voice of innovation in Italy — capable of speaking to the wider TEDx audience while keeping institutional credibility.

Pre-event communication
Strategy and production of communication content in the run-up to the event: participation announcement, content on ALISEI channels, press and community materials, all designed to build anticipation and visibility around the TEDx stage presence.

Once the talk was over, we managed the amplification phase: social content to capitalize on the moment, video distribution, narrative positioning across institutional and industry channels to maximize reach and the reputational value of the intervention.
